MARK BROGAN

With a background in kickboxing and an interest in European martial arts, Mark joined  The 1595 Club at the opening of the Letterkenny salle in 2014.
Studying the weapons and unarmed system of the club, he became the club's 20th Free Scholar in 2015.

DAVE BULLING

FREE SCHOLAR

With background in  taekwondo & medieval re-enactment, Dave joined the 1595 Club in 2008. Studying under the club's founder, Chris Chatfield, in Saviolo's "war rapier", Pugilism, unarmed fencing, Partisan (cutting spear), Sabre & Cutlass. He became a Free Scholar in 2010. After relocating to Ireland's northwest with his family in 2015, Dave joined Mark Brogan in Letterkenney to continue exploring the 1595 system.
